Let it Snow.

OK it was soft hail, but it was plentiful, it covered surfaces and for an hour; we could pretend that it snowed.

Window.

We bought a pane of stained glass which was very flimsy and delicate.  Husband E has built a wooden frame around it and we have secured it to a plain window.  I love it.

The Red Plate.

I was about to give the red plate away, but decided to put it behind the clock.  I like red at Christmas time.

Fiona gave us the framed Christmas message, the candle came from Ikea, as did the little hat which we put on the cat quickly for photographs.

Sewing Nook aka Sewing in a Cupboard.

It has been a long held hope to have a sewing area which we could just leave set up....so this cupboard was large enough to take the desk.  We sorted through games and puzzles and got rid of a large chest of drawers from in here and now we have this space.  The top section is still games and puzzles.  I hope that it works well.

Tea Take Two.

My second attempt at a cup of tea in the afternoon.  I just reach the desired temperature and then have to get in the car and fetch a child.

Chair.

Thankfully the new chair fits 14 year old daughter's desk very well.  We hope it is comfortable.

Round.

A good friend has given us her kitchen table.  It is lovely and suits our space beautifully.  She has been so generous to our families over the many years.
