Spring is Still Here.

Spring is still here and I am enjoying roses and sweet peas before the heat wilts them.

He's Home.

15 year old son returned from China today.  Just like he did in April from S.E Asia.
He attempted hand washing once, but said that the humidity meant that it struggled to dry.  Hmmmm. Nice drying weather here in Sydney this afternoon after a morning of drizzle.

Mission to China.

15 year old son left with his fellow school mates to go to China and Hong Kong.  They are going on a mission and will play basketball along the way.

Zulu Cake.

Not sure if that is a name which is well known for this cake, but a friend of mine used it for this cake a while ago.  The thermomix was great for this recipe.  I milled my own almond meal and boiled/steamed the oranges in the thermomix basket.  The thermomix then mushed the oranges with the other ingredients.  A lovely gluten free cake from the thermomix community.
