Good, local friends; providing welcome respite and support.

Turkish Towels.

I love Turkish towels when it is hot, humid and rainy.  They dry well.

Take a Brick....

...wrap it well and soften sharp corners with plastic bags and tape.  Wrap in hessian and string.  A doorstop is the product.  It will do for now.

Guitar.

A new interest; guitar lessons.  However with the emerging schedule and basketball season beginning; 9 year old daughter will take a break from her lessons and 12 year old daughter has said she will help her.

Coriander.

Bought in a large bunch for tacos.  Then a dilemma, as I did not know how to use the leftovers.  Collective, local mothers and their brains suggested gourmet pizza... chicken/mushroom/guacomale and coriander.  Success.  The final splurge: ripe tomatoes, coriander and balsamic vinegar.  Delicious.

A Blue Day in Sydney.

I joined some good friends in Sydney for brunch; a pool by the water.  While I was gone, 12 year old daughter made a massive, blue cookie.  Delicious.
