This was a very friendly and inquisitive kookaburra. It flew in as we were farewelling visitors. It wanted to wish husband E a happy birthday!

We were at a zoo recently and there was a a kookaburra sitting merrily upon a tree, not singing unfortunately. I could not but help to think of you, my friend in Australia. So I guess you might say I had thoughts of you while in a zoo!
