Giddy.....

.......with joy. Flowers arrived this afternoon from Aunty L. for my birthday. They make our home feel lovely!

Lamb Chop.

Some lovely ideas for lamb chops. I polled some friends and offered a block of chocolate as a reward for the best recipe.

The winning entry was one a friend found here: http://www.abc.net.au/local/recipes/2009/06/17/2600802.htm
We had this delicious dinner on Wednesday night.

Tonight, another friend has recommended doing the following:

Cut carrots, place lamb chops on top , layer if necessary. Spread garlic and rosemary over the top. Slice potatoes and place on top. Bake for 2 hours.

Birthday Girl

Cupcakes and pony candles at Grandad's on Monday.

Our youngest daughter is turning 3 today.

Some More Suitcases.

I have not posted for a while.....

I went away with some mothers from school for our annual retreat to the mountains. Shopping, cafes, tea and coffee, Guinness and champagne cocktails with lovely cheese and much laughter. We always bring an apple pie home for our families as well as a few gifts. I found some old Noddy books and other lovely books at the many little book stores in the mountains. Some citrus jellies for husband E and as usual, some old suitcases.

One of the suitcases is a Barber's case with compartments inside. It is the first picture.
