The Weather.

The weather has been so very dramatic here.  Hot, humid days and stormy afternoons and evenings.  Sometimes we are rewarded with stunning skies, after the storm has passed.
The Hydrangeas are putting on a glorious show.  That is my photo, the rest are taken by Husband E.

Christmas Pudding.

We made our puddings yesterday at my sister in law's annual church event.  Such a lovely afternoon.
The pudding boiled for five hours and is now ready.  Auntie J made the pudding balls above for afternoon tea and saved some for the now 16 year old son, who is having his birthday today.

This was fun, cheaper than microwave/bought popcorn and we will use it at a birthday party soon!

This is how the tall 15 year old makes his bed with a new duvet cover.

Flowers.

Aren't the flowers in these palms amazing?

Sweet peas, sown by the girls and in Ouma's vase.

Spring is Still Here.

Spring is still here and I am enjoying roses and sweet peas before the heat wilts them.

He's Home.

15 year old son returned from China today.  Just like he did in April from S.E Asia.
He attempted hand washing once, but said that the humidity meant that it struggled to dry.  Hmmmm. Nice drying weather here in Sydney this afternoon after a morning of drizzle.
