Purple Knitting.



Yay, finally; this holiday I have managed to introduce 9 year old daughter to knitting. She is loving it. She is making a purple scarf and hopes to make another scarf for her 12 year old brother.

Thursday's Baking Wednesday.

Yesterday was baking Wednesday which I did get done quickly last night. Husband E helped with a vigorous mix! The chocolate glaze was wonderful again, this time I used white chocolate instead. So good, so easy......

While browsing through Homespun Living, I was inspired and felt as though I needed to get busy making something. I will be learning to knit next Winter, but I did find something I had started, with just a plain stitch. I do not know what it will be used for, but right now I am enjoying the colours and the use of my hands, practicing perhaps for next Winter?



Today I thought I would finish the Cinderella theme and show you my new shoes that can fit orthodics. There are some nice styles out now. These will see me through Summer, they are leather and have little vents on top of the toes to allow 'air circulation'. Almost dainty...
