Hot and Muggy.

It was hot and muggy last Saturday and a big storm was predicted, so we thought that we should go out for lunch, near the water.  When near the water, I always have seafood.  It was fabulous here at Brooklyn.

The family with The Grandparents, enjoyed a lovely 8 day cruise to Noumea and Vanuatu.

Holiday in Canberra and Berrima.

We caught up with family, went to Floriade, the National Art Gallery, The War Memorial and Berrima; enjoying older cottages and small town life.

Milk Tart.

This milk tart was made by 15 year old daughter for a school assessment.  We used my Ouma's recipe.  The filling is similar to this recipe and we made the base which was in her recipe.  Lovely how the taste of food can bring back memories.
