Good Friday.

Image from Google Images.

At church this morning, a glimpse at a movie about the Crucifiction. The images needed to be harsh and remind us of pain endured, for our expense. Selfless giving. It was appropriate for our 12 year old son to think of the reality of events long ago.

The blog community is alive and encouraging!

I read about a Study in Brown at Aimee's blog Living, Loving and Learning Simply. My friend, A Woman of Notes found a particularly encouraging post at a Study in Brown and this is it...To Know the Season. Read and take a rest!

Veteran Car Display in Berrima.

In the first week of the school holidays, we ventured down to Berrima for a Veteran car display. Our Vintage car drove down (me in convoy with the children in a modern vehicle). This lady had set up a tea table, complete with shortbread.

A Day Trip to the Mountains.

A lovely day trip to the mountains with our dear friends the P family. The Autumn leaves were breathtaking at Mt Wilson. We took two modern cars and the Vintage car.

We enjoyed a lovely morning tea in a clearing. The weather had been lovely, the second half of the day was wet and cold. We still managed to return home with apple pie and cloudy apple juice from Bell.

The Initial Stage of the Wreath.

The beginnings of a wreath made for the school assembly today honouring our ANZAC soldiers. The official day that we remember is the 25th April, but today is the last day of our first term at school. I will post the finished product on the 25th April.
