Target Topiary.

Yes the sun was shining, hence the glare... but I am not going to edit sunshine.
I, like Fiona, found grand bargains at Target recently.  Fake topiary, apologies, but anything green that requires no watering or pruning is a winner with me.
Yes there are weeds in the gravel and our shoes on display... welcome to the entrance of our life (I mean home).

Candy Cane Hearts in Autumn.

We had a school fete recently and candy canes which 13 year old son thought were a 'good bargain'.  I don't enjoy lollies at the best of times and certainly not so many.  I had found this good idea on the internet.  Assemble the canes as above and bake at 120 Centigrade for 10 minutes.  I just prodded the joins with a toothpick to ensure that they were sticking and then let them harden.

They did not sell well, but I liked the idea.

A Place of Communication.

This is where I blog.  The two pieces of art were made my friend Cam Munroe in New Zealand.

Some Colourful Shells.

Five year old daughter loves craft.  She has coloured these shells.  13 year old son was most impressed.

Noah's Ark

Aunty J has made knit animals (and Mr and Mrs Noah) from Noah's Ark for the many baby cousins in husband E's family.  A huge accomplishment.  They gathered last week, two by two.

The next few days saw lots of rainfall, but today it is sunny and lovely.

The bottom photo shows the youngest cousins in the family, brother and sister....
