Boxing It Up and Putting Away.

Packing away for another year.  I really enjoyed the decorations up till Christmas, but I am ready to clear the decks now for a fresh year.

Christmas Eve church,

Prawns and salmon on the deck; it was cold and misty- yay!

Turkey thighs, roast vegetables, green.

Plum pudding, custard and icecream.

Dickens' "A Christmas Tale" once the younger two had gone to bed with chocolate.

A very special day at home with our family.

Fiona arrived with a lovely array of gifts for Christmas and for 12 year old daughter's birthday.  This framed blessing is going to be a special feature each Christmas.  Thankyou so much Fiona.

Gingerbread: First Batch.

We ran out of golden syrup; but honey worked well.  7 year old daughter enjoyed making and icing this batch.  I have promised each child that they can make a batch.... We will try two different recipes.  This recipe was from the thermomix community... the thermomix did well to knead the dough.
