A day of fellowship, quiet, reading, contemplation, chat, food, tea, coffee and a fantastic fire pit dinner with Moroccan lamb and roasted veg salad; with orange syrup cake and fruit for dessert.

In answer to your question about the book, There is a Season by Carolyn Tyree Feagans.
I bought it in Virginia, a local author who writes a novel based on her life in the area of Virginia where my paternal grandfather was born and reared. A good and simple read.
