Lurpak Butter Biscuits (Cookies)

Seven year old daughter enjoyed making biscuits with me yesterday, she was the only child at home.

We got this recipe from a magazine commercial for Lurpak butter.

250g butter
125g icing sugar
1 egg
350g flour

Mix and then roll into a sausage.  Put in the fridge till harder (we could only wait 20minutes).  Cut into disks, place on a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

We iced some with plain icing, some with passionfruit icing and others were left plain.

I remember you asking me about "biscuits" several years ago. The biscuits of my home are not sweet nor do they have icing. I am not sure what the equivalent to your biscuit is. However, they sound good and tasty.

Isn't it strange when you only have one child home?

Aah yes, cookies would be another word, biscuits are savoury and scone like aren't they?
