A special weekend away with 13 year old daughter. A lovely cottage, good food, warmth, great company (as her best friend and her mother came too), and then snow on the day of departure.

I read this when you first posted meaning, with good intentions, to get back and comment. I encourage you with this very practical and special way to maintain a good relationship with your daughter. They grow up too fast...too soon they will be gone.
