January Juice.....



I am increasing my intake of vegetables and to do this I am making vegetable juice. My sister in law's friend did not need her juicer anymore, so I am enjoying it. I had my first today: a handful of baby spinach leaves, a large chunk of ginger and an apple. It was delicious. 10 year old son had carrot juice with a slither of ginger. Nice too.


I am also drinking peppermint tea instead of normal and I prefer it. I usually like my tea with milk and sugar. I think that should reduce my intake of sugar in a day. I find the peppermint tea to be much more refreshing.

I drink peppermint tea every night and love it. Morning and afternoon tea - Chai with a tiny drop of skim milk - almost black. I have not tried ginger and apple juice without carrot also. The girls are getting worse at drinking their 3cms of juice each day.(we don't waste any more on them as they won't drink it) Straws help. I have a straw in mine too or I end up with orange "lip corners" from the carrot juice!

Peppermint tea is a favorite of both my daughter and I. I especially love the Tazo Zen. Is that available to you?

Peppermint tea I do like, especially for a stomach that needs settling. But juicing is something that makes me need peppermint tea....I just can't seem to get "into" drinking these concoctions that are deemed to be "good for you." However, I do drink Magma Plus every morning at rising and some have
gagged at that thought! Here's to drinking to your health in whatever way.....
