....time again to boil the pudding. We went to sister in law J's church, where the lovely ladies had already weighed and measured our ingredients. We had a demonstration and then mixed our puddings. I came home and boiled it for five hours. It was a lovely cool evening. Not like today.

This fascinated me tremendously last Christmas when you made such a pudding. I never did get brave enough to try one for myself though. I like how this is a tradition of yours, and you have a team of Christmas pudding fellow makers...comrades in task, so to speak.
