This afternoon, after lunch on the deck ,9 year old son chopped a dead branch and swept out the flooded garage and 6 year old daughter played totem tennis. The two little ones had their naps and so husband E and I had a little snooze too.
We then headed out to the local National Park where we saw bush turkeys (like our friends in our street), cockatoos, parrots, kookaburras, wallabies, kangaroos and beautiful views. There was a "hill upon hill".
We had an afternoon tea of homemade biscuits and fruit.
The whole family then went out for dinner where we bumped into two teachers from school all enjoying time with their families.
A lovely day was had by all.
