Last night I took our 9 year old son for a haircut and then he accompanied me to the shops. We had sushi and did the grocery shopping. It was a good lesson for him to see what money can buy. We are blessed now to have replenished our pantry and fridge stock. Now I will just await my delivery of fresh produce.
Our pantry has large rectangular boxes that house various produce in quantity. For example, one box holds dried fruits and muesli bars, another crackers and popcorn. They stack two high. This has worked for us for many years. I feel as though I am getting quite personal showing the inside of my pantry!

I don't think I have seen the muesli before so very interesting. I keep that kind of cream too.
It is a fruit free muesli that has been recommended to me as it is low G.I. I let it soak in milk for a bit as it is oat based. Keeps my energy going....
I am only getting to know you better every day!
So your son likes sushi I assume.....interesting. It seems to be a "grown-up" food around here.
9 year old son and I don't enjoy the raw fish variety, last night we had teriyaki chicken and another sort of chicken. Delicous with rice and then wrapped in seaweed. He even enjoys soy sauce...
